Durham, North Carolina

Hey there!
My name is Alyssa Cuffie Onuoha.

If you'd like to read my resume, check out my LinkedIn. But if you'd like to learn more about me as a person, this is the place to be.

I grew up in Brown Deer, WI with hobbies that included haunting the library, drawing on homework, and watching the news with my dad. After graduating with my degree in Marketing and Information Systems from Loyola University of Chicago, I moved to North Carolina where I now live with my husband, Alex, and cat, Nala.
I work full time improving the work experiences of employees at Cisco Systems and have a deep passion for bringing communities together through art. So outside of my day job, I spend all of my free time finding ways to do just that.

My favorite projects include:
-
Womanifesto Magazine, a five issue zine that highlighted 60+ artists from around the world
-
The Durham Artist Archive, A biweekly podcast and newsletter highlighting Durham, NC based creatives and their relationship to the city
-
My upcoming pop up art gallery launching in 2026 thanks to a grant from the Snapdragon fund.
